The National Student Survey (NSS) results have been published this week showing very positive results for the University of Liverpool Management School with an increase in overall satisfaction this year.

The NSS is designed to assess students' opinions of the quality of their degree programmes, with different scores published including an "overall satisfaction" mark. It provides an invaluable source of information for those comparing courses and institutions and gives current students a voice, helping to shape the future of their programmes.

Marketing achieved an overall satisfaction level of 98%, placing it in the top 3 Marketing programmes nationally. The enthusiasm of staff on this course ranked the highest of any Marketing programme in the UK.

Students on our Accounting and Finance programme were also extremely satisfied with their experience.  This course ranks amongst the best in the UK for the academic support provided, the quality of teaching and learning and the learning resources available to students, according to the survey results.

Overall satisfaction on our Economics and Business Economics programmes increased by 11% this year, and outperformed other Economics programmes in many areas including academic support and learning resources.

There was also a good performance on our Business Management (achieving 90%) and International Business programmes, with an improvement in overall satisfaction, and above average scores in many questions on the survey, including the quality of teaching on the course.

Director of Undergraduate Programmes, Liz Crolley, said: "The student experience is integral to the Management School, so we are delighted with the excellent performance in this year’s survey. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our students for their support, dedication and for their wonderful contributions to the School. We aim to continue to work hard in partnership with our students and continue to improve."
