Debut novelists Louise and Polly will be discussing their respective paths to publishing; from the challenges they faced along the way to how they chose their material, they will share their experiences with us and offer some top tips for aspiring authors.
Published in March, Louise’s debut novel This Lovely City is a moving tale of young love and shameful prejudice set in the aftermath of the Second World War.
Polly’s first novel, The Illustrated Child, is due out in hardback at the end of October and tells the story of Romilly and her eccentric artist father, who finds fame with a series of children’s books starring Romilly as the lead character.
