Liverpool Feminist City networking event

Wednesday, 6 December 2023, 1.00pm

The ‘feminist city’ is a powerful provocation to think about how we can live more justly in an urban world? A feminist city is inclusive and centres human need, so that all can access and benefit from the opportunities and resources of the city. By foregrounding gendered, queer and intersectional perspectives, the feminist city offers a frame for thinking critically about the past, present and future of cities.

Join us to hear about cross-disciplinary research relating to the idea of the Feminist City, network with others interested in this, and discuss how we may continue to build the Liverpool Feminist City network.

By the end of this session, participants will have the opportunity to :

  • Network with researchers from across disciplines and others interested in the idea of a ‘feminist city’
  • Learn about research from across the university relating to the ‘feminist city’
  • Contribute to the future activity of the Liverpool Feminist City Network
