Patrick is an Associate Director of Political and Social Science Research at YouGov and will be delivering a talk titled "Multilevel modelling and post-stratification (MRP) for estimating public opinion in small areas."
Abstract:
"Exploring and detailing the method most famously used at the 2017 UK general election to correctly predict a shock hung parliament, and how the polling industry continues to use and improve MRP today to capture how opinions change and develop across geographic contexts."
