We are delighted that the University and the Solem Quartet have renewed their association for 2017-18. This immensely popular quartet return to the Leggate following a packed Summer schedule that saw them criss-crossing the country and the announcement of a complete Beethoven cycle to take place in London in 2020. This concert includes Bartók’s String Quartet no. 4, famous for its atmospheric ‘night music’, and the first performance of 2017 Music graduate Anna Tucker’s Loving You Silently which was first workshopped by the Quartet as part of a Pop Composition module.
