Former Head of Composition at the University of Liverpool James Wishart has created a ‘mad woman’, brilliantly interpreted by Louise Ashcroft. She is an unnamed, ambiguous character who may be reliving memories of Thatcher's prime ministership, may be delusional in thinking she is Thatcher, or could be Margaret Thatcher herself. If you missed the première of this remarkable piece of music theatre at the Liverpool Philharmonic Music Room last November, don’t miss this performance. Conductor Clark Rundell introduces the piece here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zPnuOUAfZCA
