We’re excited to invite you to our Recent Graduates Networking Event on Thursday 22 May 2025 in Liverpool.

This engaging event is designed for our recent alumni from the last few years. Whether you're figuring out your next steps, keen to grow your network, or just fancy catching up with fellow grads, you’ll be in great company.

Event details:

📅 Date: Thursday 22 May
🕕 Time: 6-8.30pm
📍 Venue: Frederiks, 32 Hope Street, Liverpool L1 9BX

What to expect:

You’ll take part in a series of short, themed networking circles led by recent graduate ambassadors - designed to spark conversation, share ideas, and connect you with others who are figuring things out just like you.

There’ll be four rounds, with a relaxed break halfway through to grab a drink and continue chatting informally.

Topics will range from early career experiences and life after university to building confidence and exploring what comes next.

Meet our recent graduate ambassadors:

Tawhidur Pir (BA Hons Criminology 2021): Re-locating from Manchester to Merseyside in hopes of joining the Police, he took a risk and joined the world of logistics instead after graduation. Now Tawhidur is a Warehouse Shift Manager for The Co-Op Logistics. However, he still volunteered as Police Officer for Merseyside Police through his university studies and in recent years in order to pursue his new current passion for leadership and management.

Abhishek Mishra (MSc Management 2024): Abhishek is a business development professional and recent University of Liverpool graduate, with additional training from the London School of Economics and Harvard Business Publishing. He currently works as a Business Development Manager at a leading AV and IT firm, bringing over three years of experience in growth strategy and client engagement.

Obimobi Onyeukwu-Onyenso (BSc Hons Biological & Medical Sciences 2024): Obimobi is currently completing an MSc in Biomedical Engineering (Healthcare) at the University of Liverpool, with a focus on biomaterials for ophthalmic applications. He aims to pursue a career as a patent attorney in life sciences, combining his biomedical background with a passion for innovation and IP law.

Lucy Charnock (BA Hons Business Economics with a Year in Industry 2023): Lucy is a Fast-Stream Economist at the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, and has previously worked at the Health and Safety Executive. Lucy represents Liverpool in the Women in Economics Network, is a co-creator of the Liverpool Analysis Network & is a confident public speaker.

Meghan Goodwin (BA Hons Business Management 2023): A First-Class Business Management graduate, Meghan Goodwin is now a Salesforce Consultant at CloudJungle, a Salesforce Consulting Partner specialising in digital transformation. Meghan has earned both her Salesforce Associate and Administrator certifications since joining the company. Previously, she participated in the LCR Grad Scheme, which connected talented graduates with SMEs across the Liverpool City Region。

Noura Qusairy (BA Hons International Business 2019, MSc Project Management 2020): Noura is the co-founder of Yamama Café & Bar, one of the UK’s best hidden gems. With a background in International Business and a Master’s in Project Management from the University of Liverpool, Noura launched Yamama alongside her sister, Futoon. What began as a side business selling handcrafted goods made by refugees has since evolved into a vibrant cultural space, offering authentic Middle Eastern food, drinks, and artisan products - all rooted in community, creativity, and purpose.
