Are you ready for Bike Week?

WE’RE BACK with another cycle event to help University of Liverpool staff and students get prepared for Bike Week (6-12 June 2022)

Join us on Thursday 26th May 10am - 2pm on Guild Walk to celebrate cycling in the lead up to #BikeWeekUK . We will be bringing together all the right people to help you get cycling, or simply improve your cycling experience. We'll be answering any questions you might have about cycling to and from campus, the cycling facilities that are available and what the University is doing to support sustainable travel. Plus we'll have cycling maps, discounts and giveaways - including our 100% recyclable travel mugs!

Members of staff who may be considering taking up cycling, we will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about the University's Cycle to Work scheme and how you can join and show you some of the bikes currently on offer at Halfords, and independent shops, including electric bikes.

Already a cyclist? Peloton Liverpool will be offering free bike repairs and bike maintenance throughout the day. And Campus Support will be on hand to give you lots of bike safety advice and you can have your bike registered on the National Cycle Database.

This year Bike Week is all about you and your local community, we want to encourage as many people as possible to get out there and enjoy their community by bike. We want you to dream big and imagine how your community could be improved if everyone in it used their bikes more, together we can make a better world by bike.
Hope to see you there!
