Course Lecturer: Paul Dearden

Paul completed his B.Sc. with the Open University while working as Curator of the Planetarium in the Department of Earth and Physical Sciences at National Museums Liverpool. He then undertook an M.Sc. in the History of Science and Technology at the University of Liverpool, for which he researched time measurement and observational astronomy at the Liverpool Observatory.

Paul is a Continuing Education Lecturer in Astronomy at the University of Liverpool and an Associate Lecturer in Astronomy and Planetary Science at the Open University. He was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society in 1999.
