Rupeshkumar Ghagi

The project will explore optical transition radiation as a replacement for traditional methods.

Rupeshkumar Ghagi completed his M.Sc. (Physics) in 2008 from the Department of Physics, University of Pune, India. He studied viscous fingering phenomenon with complex fluids as part of his master’s thesis.

He has spent the following years in entrepreneurial and social experiments. He has founded a couple of educational institutes, a cooperative society and a company working in the IT and Education domain.

He will be following his passion for Physics again with LIV.INNO where he will be exploring optical transition radiation diagnostics for low energy ion beams. He will be conducting simulation and experimental studies at GSI/FAIR in Germany.
