Qiyuan Xu

Refining simulated data sets, optimizing the optical fiber's parameters, and applying machine learning-based models for transverse beam distribution reconstruction.

Qiyuan Xu graduated from Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University in 2017 with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. His BEng project studied the propagation of electromagnetic waves in Bluetooth technology. In 2020, he received the MSc in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Edinburgh. His master's project focused on leveraging machine learning techniques for multi-dimension time series data pattern recognition.

Qiyuan joined the LIV.INNO CDT in October 2023 as a PhD student at the University of Liverpool. His research involves refining simulated data sets, optimizing the optical fiber's parameters, and applying machine learning-based models for transverse beam distribution reconstruction.
