With its perimeter open benching and three island benches this 136m2 laboratory can accommodate 40 occupants.
It has one teaching position with an audio visual consul and 6 wall mounted display monitors distributed around the lab and is generously fitted with power, data and wifi connections, as well as sinks and wash hand basins.
It also has 30 PCs, but no other fixed equipment. This means it is one of the most flexible laboratory teaching spaces in the building. It can accommodate a small PC-based class, a liquid nitrogen based investigation or a visiting school group.
