I Got Hired: Alexandra

Alexandra Murphy studied Anatomy and Human Biology at the University of Liverpool before taking up a graduate role as Associate Project Leader at Yet2.

How did you hear about your role?

I heard about my role through Handshake, the university’s careers platform.

How did you get to where you are now?

Some of my extracurricular activities, such as the ‘enterprise in life sciences’ challenge that I took part in really helped me get my job at Yet2. There were several interviews and homework tasks to be selected for the role.

Your favourite experience as part of your current role?

I get to work with extremely high-profile clients like Colgate, NASA, Haleon and Mondelez.

The most challenging part of your graduate journey?

Staying motivated when looking for a job!

What's your #1 piece of advice for future grads?

Get involved in as much as you can at university that will set you apart from others in interviews. Any experiences you can talk to are so useful in being successful.
