Holly is a Class of 2024 BA Communications and Media graduate who has gone on to study for a MA Broadcast Journalism at City St George’s, University of London.
How did you hear about your course?
I decided to apply for this masters degree as I wanted to gain industry-ready skills to progress into my career to become a broadcast journalist.
How did you get to where you are now?
Worked hard and got a 2:1 in my undergraduate degree, modules on journalism in third year and a trip to World Press Freedom day in Chile made me certain I wanted to be a journalis
Your favourite experience?
Loving learning how to source and pitch stories, as well as learning the adobe suite.
The most challenging part of your journey?
Masters are HARD!!! Make sure you definitely are invested in your subject otherwise it’ll drain you.
What's your #1 piece of advice for future grads?
Do work experience during your course if you can - always enhances your CV!
