I discovered my role on the employment platform Indeed. There were so many characteristics and art of the job description that aligned with my personality and skill set. The role is in the microbiological field, in which I had experience in at the University of Liverpool through taking part in the advanced microbiological techniques module on my course.

How did you get to where you are now?

I have had many different part-time job roles prior to and during university that have helped to build my confidence and my ability to adapt to new situations and pressurised scenarios. From working as a NCS Assistant Team Leader with a group of young adults, to working in retail as a general sales assistant, I have an acquired a wide range of skills. Your favourite experience as part of your current role?

I have really enjoyed learning the variety of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the different microbiological tests and the extreme accuracy involved. In addition, being part of a team to deliver high-quality results to achieve customer satisfaction has been extremely rewarding and enjoyable. Furthermore, techniques outside of our services such as the 5S principle to increase employee morale and work out-put quality.
