Rayan Kells is a Business Management student at the University of Liverpool who has just completed his YINI placement year with Enterprise Mobility. We spoke to him about his time there.

"In my role, I supported the talent acquisition team in identifying promising candidates and promoting the opportunities Enterprise Mobility offers. I also gained hands-on experience in sales, management, and operations, giving me a real taste of the professional world and how business decisions play out in practice.

During my time there, I had the privilege to work alongside a talented and driven team while I deepened my understanding of sales performance and operations. It was a great opportunity to tackle real-world challenges that tested my problem-solving skills and helped me to develop key leadership and strategic thinking abilities.

I picked up far more than I expected, including;

🔹 Clear communication – presenting ideas confidently and adapting to different audiences
🔹 Problem-solving & negotiation – tackling challenges to find solutions that work for everyone
🔹 Building relationships – developing strong networks with colleagues and customers alike
🔹 Customer focus – going the extra mile to deliver standout service
🔹 Resilience – staying adaptable and maintaining momentum through challenges

I’m truly grateful for the opportunities to grow, learn, and contribute to impactful projects. Excited for what the future holds and the next chapter in my career!

As I enter my final year at university, I’m focused on deepening my expertise across all areas of business and preparing to launch a career where I can innovate, lead, and create value."

Thank you Rayan for sharing your experience and best of luck in your future career – and in your current role as Campus Brand Manager for Enterprise Mobility at the University of Liverpool!
