Providing opportunities and nurturing talent

EQ+ at the University of Liverpool is a specialist employability initiative that has been designed to empower students and graduates who face barriers, biases, or unequal access to progression. Our goal is simple: to ensure every student has the opportunity to succeed, regardless of background or circumstance.

Why partner with EQ+?

We know many employers are committed to building diverse workforces and inclusive cultures. EQ+ helps you connect with talented students who can bring fresh perspectives and help you achieve those goals.

Who we support

Support for EQ+ is data-driven and targeted towards students who face the most significant barriers to progression, including:

  • Students with disabilities
  • Racialised minorities
  • Care experienced, estranged, young carers, refugees and asylum seekers
  • Mature students
  • Bursary recipients, local and commuter students
  • Students from areas of low participation in higher education

This list isn’t exhaustive - support is tailored and reviewed regularly, based on data and graduate outcomes.
