Wednesday 9th November Dr Marco Iuliano has been invited to deliver a lecture at the University of Cambridge, Centre for Research in the Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities (CRASSH) for the lecture series 'Photography between Invisibility and the Unseen'.

The talk, Unseen therefore Untold: notes from the Architectural Press Archive, will analyse a discrete number of architectural works in the Architectural Press archive (AP), kept in the Royal Institute of British Architects Collections. The AP archive  includes The Architectural Review papers: there are not only vintage photographs and the discarded images, but also fundamental notes that can tell a different story to that which we might read via the published life of the images. This talk explores the emerging concept of 'education to vision', referring to both architectural learning and professional communities, so as to create awareness of the potential (and of the limitations) to space created in our imagination by photographs.
