Institute of Acoustics Engineering Medal success

Carl Hopkins of the Liverpool School of Architecture's Acoustic Research Unit has been awarded the 2016 Institute of Acoustics Engineering Medal. This medal is awarded in even-numbered years to registered engineers in recognition of their outstanding contribution in the field of acoustical engineering.

The Acoustic Research Unit is no stranger to success with the Institute of Acoustics, with Professor Barry Gibbs having won the 2015 R.W.B Stephens Medal and Carl Hopkins winning the 2012 Institute of Acoustics Tyndall Medal.
