A selection of drawings depicting ideas for the regeneration of St James Station

In the final semester of 2014/15 BA3’s Studio 3 worked to develop ideas for the reinstatement of Liverpool’s St James Station. Between 18th and 20th July they ran a short exhibition in parallel to the month long degree show at University of Liverpool School of Architecture .

Here students displayed selection of models and drawings depicting ideas for the regeneration of St James Station. Their proposals serve the existing and emerging neighbouring communities with key client being Baltic CIC.

The station is seen as essential part of  the infrastructure of the regeneration of the area – Baltic CIC have been working with local business and community groups towards its reopening with Liverpool City Council and Merseyrail.

The work of the students helps to keep the conversation alive and current and generated positive local press and attention on social media.
