Photographic Competition Success
The Liverpool School of Architecture would like to congratulate first year student, David Weller on winning the recent RLB photographic competition.
His entry, D2 Wildlife Park, will be used as the cover image for RLB's forthcoming Corporate Responsibility Report. The competition was judged jointly between representatives from RLB and the photographer Will Woods, who commented:
I regard [this image] as having all the elements; such as the general public encountering both natural elements, within diverse forms of architecture, albeit fantastical. Importantly, the natural vegetation and colours are also echoed in the organic lines of the architecture. It's a great example of people and ecology, there's even a buzzard soaring above the London Skyline!’ – Will Woods
