Further Grant Success for Mark Swenarton

The Liverpool School of Architecture congratulates Mark Swenarton, holder of the James Stirling Chair of Architecture, on being awarded a grant from the The Paul Mellon Centre for Studies in British Art.

The award is to fund a new set of photography of the key Camden projects that will be discussed in Mark's forthcoming monograph, Cook's Camden, which will present the findings from the research that he's been engaged on since 2008. In the book the new photography, by distinguished architectural photographer Tim Crocker, will present a contemporary view of the projects to complement the original black-and-white photography by the late Martin Charles. Publication is planned in 2017.

Funding for the project has previously been obtained from the British Academy (the Thank Offering to Britain Award 2013) and the RIBA.
