PhD success for Pimolsiri Prajongsan
Congratulations to Pimolsiri Prajongsan for being awarded the degree of Doctor in Philosophy in October 2014. Pimolsiri’s doctoral thesis was entitled ‘Natural ventilation strategies to enhance human comfort in high-rise residential buildings in Thailand’; her research used dynamic thermal modelling and computational fluid dynamics to investigate the performance of a novel natural ventilation system that could reduce energy demand for air conditioning in Bangkok’s high rise apartment blocks. Dr Prajongsan has now returned to her lecturing post in the Department of Architecture, Silpakorn University, Thailand.
