Sisters of Precious Blood

Billy Chi Ho Wong, a graduate of the Liverpool School of Architecture, has seen success in his native China with the 2013 Hong Kong Institute of Architects Awards. Working as part of a team at Eric Design Architure, the scheme for the Precious Blood’s Home for the Aged Sisters won the 2013 Presidents medal.

The winning scheme is a home for retired Sisters of the Sisters of Precious Blood.

Featuring religious artworks merged and interlocked with architectural spaces, the residence provides a spritual and physical home for the Sisters who have devoted their lives to serving the community.

The Liverpool School of Architecture has strong international links with China, in particular the Department of Architecture at Xi'an Jiaotong Liverpool University in Suzhou.
