In 2018 the Liverpool School of Architecture partnered with the British Council on their Fellowship programme to send three of our MArch students, as Fellows, to work and research in Venice for a month long period as part of the Architecture Biennale.

The After Island Exhibition is a collaborative venture delivered through a partnership between British Council, RIBA North and University of Liverpool. All seventy fellows were invited to showcase their work.

We are delighted that our three University of Liverpool fellows, Alice Bufton, Nathaniel Welham and Nansi Jones will be joining British Pavilion architect and artists Peter St John and Marcus Taylor together with Ben Derbyshire ( RIBA President) on the panel to discuss the significance of the Venice Architecture Biennale to contemporary architectural practice.
