International Advice and Guidance

International Advice and Guidance (IAG) are here to help support all of our international students. IAG appreciate that 2+2 and 2+1+1 students have a unique pathway into the University of Liverpool, and have the relevant skills and understanding to support you with any academic, personal, cultural or language challenges you may face.

Student Services

Student Services are here to help if you need support while studying. You can get assistance with your studies, help with health and wellbeing, financial advice and support with applying for postgraduate study here or elsewhere.

Libraries and learning resources

With two libraries on campus, you'll have 24/7 access to books, computers, study spaces and support from our friendly library staff. You can book an induction tour when you arrive to find out how to make the most of these fantastic resources.

English language support

As an XJTLU student, you will get access to a free, comprehensive programme of English language support from our English Language Centre. This is the University's specialist language facility for international students, here to help you perfect your written and spoken English and achieve top marks in your chosen University of Liverpool course.

Careers and employability

We provide a bespoke careers service with additional resources and support just for international students. Make the most of your time in Liverpool and expand your network, with global employment opportunities.

Campus accommodation

Enjoy everything our city centre campus has to offer and become part of our international student community. Demand for accommodation is high, so we recommend researching and applying for your preferred accommodation early.
