Dinah is joined by Joanna Biggs, author of All Day Long about modern work, and editor at the London Review of Books;Steve Peacock, Managing Partner at Weightmans' Liverpool office who specialises in Employment Law in both public and private organisations, with a particular expertise in the education sector; and Asif Hamid MBE, CEO and founder of The Contact Company, Chair of the Liverpool Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) and Honorary President of the Wirral Chamber of Commerce.
The Future for people in work - Can new mean better?
We’ve heard that work will fundamentally change as a result of Covid-19. As we hear more about the “new normal” doing good business means shaping the agenda not waiting to see what happens. In this session we look at the future of the workplace and what it might mean for businesses, people, and the wider fabric of our City and City Region. The world is unpredictable so rather than trying to guess what might happen we’re going to explore what we’ve learned during the pandemic, what it might mean for the world of work, and how work could work better.
