When To Refer

Student Services have produced a guide to help all University of Liverpool staff offer students the best possible support.

The guide is called 'When to Refer'. It outlines common scenarios that students often raise with staff, suggesting appropriate responses for staff and the most appropriate services to refer students to. 

We advise all staff not to provide students with their home contact details. If you feel that it is important for a student to be able to contact someone outside of normal hours, the University is currently working in partnership with Health Assured. Health Assured offers students a free confidential advice line, with help available to talk through any problem, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
