On University Mental Health Day (UMHD) this Thursday 12 March, we’re celebrating the power of Human Connection—how everyday interactions, from a quick hello to joining a group, can boost our wellbeing.

This year’s national theme invites all of us to find and strengthen connections across campus. Whether you’d like practical tips, a welcoming chat, or a creative drop‑in, Student Services teams have curated a day of events to help you feel linked in and supported. Every event leans into Human Connection, from building supportive networks, to managing money and social media so there’s more room for the people and activities that lift you.
