Additional Considerations Policy
Under the Additional Considerations Policy, if you have an extension-related reasonable adjustment listed in your Student Support Information Sheet (SSIS), you can submit eligible assessments up to 14 calendar days after the original deadline. Find out more about the extra support for disabled students.
Arranging exam support
In order to access this support, you will need to contact the Disability Advice and Guidance Team and provide some supporting documentation about your disability. A member of the team will then be able to discuss your individual needs and recommend reasonable adjustments for your exams.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to exam timetabling requirements, you will need to have provided your supporting documents and met with a Disability Adviser, prior to the university administrative deadline. Recommendations made after the deadline date for that semester cannot be guaranteed to be implemented until the next assessment period.
Deadline dates for each exam period in 2025/6 are:
Semester One deadline: 14th November 2025
Semester Two deadline: 13th March 2026
Resit period deadline: 7th July 2026
Reviewing your exam support
