Cecilia Danciu

Cecilia graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Cluj-Napoca, Romania, in 2017. Cecilia then completed a PhD at her alma mater.

In 2020, Cecilia moved to the UK to undertake a neurology speciality internship at The Ralph Veterinary Referral Centre. Following that, Cecilia started her ECVN Residency in Veterinary Neurology & Neurosurgery at the Queen Mother Hospital for Animals of the Royal Veterinary College in London, which she completed in July 2024.

Since August 2024, Cecilia has been a clinician and lecturer in the University of Liverpool's Neurology Service. Cecilia qualified as a Diplomat of the European College of Veterinary Neurology in 2025. Her research interests span various areas of veterinary neurology, with a particular focus on stroke, vestibular disease, and spinal injury.
