Teaching
Deb has significant experience teaching undergraduate nurses across all fields. Her areas include person-centred care, health inequalities, research, leadership and change management, equality, diversity and reasonable adjustments, clinical reasoning, complex multiple long term conditions management. She has been active in developing and delivering simulated practice scenarios and supporting students in a pastoral and practice review capacity.
She has developed a leadership placement opportunity that spanned the BSc programme and linked theory to practice involving a range of stakeholders.
Deb now supports apprentice students academically, and pastorally, on the Advance Practice Masters programme. As part of the team students she enables practitioners to reach their potential and meet academic, and practice requirements demanded of the role and qualification.
