John Redmond is a poet from Dublin who has published 3 collections of poems with Carcanet Press, the latest being The Alexandra Sequence (2016.) He has published a critical book on contemporary poetry, Poetry and Privacy (Seren: 2013) and is the author of a Creative Writing textbook, How to Write a Poem (Blackwell: 2005) and the editor of James Liddy: Selected Poems (Arlen House: 2011).
His essays and reviews have appeared in the London Review of Books, the TLS, The Guardian, P. N. Review, and The Irish Times.
Research interests include poetry after modernism, digital poetry, and life writing.
He is currently writing a novel and a book of poems.
