The Centre for New International Writing is host to a number of exciting and provocative events. Our Miriam Allott Visiting Writers Series brings new and international writers to Liverpool every year. The annual Kenneth Allott Lecture attracts many distinguished poets and scholars to the university. The Hope Street Writer in Residence programme brings international thinkers to the city. We also partner with local cultural institutions and other departments and Centres in the University, including English, Modern Languages and Cultures, History, Centre for the Study of International Slavery, Literature and Science Hub, Geography, the Stephenson Institute, the Centre for the Humanities and Social Sciences of Health, Medicine and Technology, and Earth, Ocean and Ecological Sciences.
