NeuroID International Scholarship
We are sponsoring a limited number of clinicians from low- and middle-income countries to attend the face-to-face course on 17 and 18 June 2026 in Liverpool, United Kingdom.
What does the sponsorship cover?
The sponsorship will cover the costs of the course registration fee plus £600 towards travel and accommodation expenses for delegates based overseas and £300 if delegates are based in the UK.
Am I eligible?
If you are a national of and are based in a low- and middle-income country then you are eligible to apply. We are especially keen to support delegates who will not receive any financial support from their own institution to attend this course. Therefore, if you are eligible for support from another source then please use this before applying for a sponsored place.
How do I apply?
To apply for the scholarship please send an e-mail to neuroidc@liverpool.ac.uk by no later than 10th April 2026, including your:
- Full name
- Nationality
- Gender Identity
- Speciality
- Grade
- Institution you are based at
- CV/resume (2 sides maximum, saved as ‘Surname, Forename, CV’)
- Personal statement (500 words maximum, saved as ‘Surname, Forename, Statement’) outlining your reasons for wanting to attend the Liverpool Neurological Infectious Diseases Course and why you would benefit from the scholarship
- Case abstract (200 words maximum,1 image, 3 references maximum, saved as ‘Surname, Forename, Case’). Please see our Trainee Competition page for further information.
Please note, you will not be eligible for consideration for a scholarship if you do not submit a case.
If you apply for a scholarship and are unsuccessful you will still be able to register onto the course as normal. We will hold open spaces for all unsuccessful applicants for a period of two weeks following the notification.
