British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowships at ULMS

The University of Liverpool’s Management School invites expressions of interest for the 2023/24 British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowship scheme.

These awards offer opportunities for outstanding early career researchers to strengthen their experience of research and teaching in a university environment – further information, including eligibility criteria, can be found here for external applicants or here for internal applicants.

The School also plays an active role in working with companies, public and third-sector organisations and policymakers, providing strong links with practice.

Those interested in applying for a Fellowship at the University of Liverpool are invited to submit expressions of interest by Monday 24th July at 5pm to Professor Chris Florakis (florakis@liverpool.ac.uk) AND to the School Research Support Team (ulmsfund@liverpool.ac.uk) and consisting of the following documentation:

  • A completed BA Postdoctoral Fellowships 2023 Proforma that can be downloaded here
  • A brief CV (maximum 2 pages)
  • A list of publications (1-page max – this should include forthcoming publications and publications in preparation)
  • Identification of potential mentor - this needs to be a mentor from the Management School with whom you have discussed this application and who has agreed to support you throughout the Fellowship.

Applicants supported by Department and School will be informed by Wednesday 23rd August 2023. All shortlisted candidates will then receive further support from their Department as well as the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, to develop and enhance their application before submission.

A Faculty online workshop to support selected candidates will take place on Wednesday 30/Thursday 31 August 2023 (the date is provisional and subject to change).
