ULMS Accounting and Finance Team win at PQ Magazine Awards

University of Liverpool Management School have won ‘Accountancy College of the Year (Public Sector)’ at this year’s PQ Magazine Awards!

The Accounting and Finance Team recently attended the awards ceremony at Proud Embankment in London on Monday 25 April where there was over 300 people in attendance. The ULMS team won over four other universities across the country (Lincoln International Business School, London South Bank University, Manchester Metropolitan University and University of Newcastle) in their category.

On the night of the 19th PQ Magazine Awards, there were over 20 categories and awards up for grabs. The ceremony was filled with celebrations and entertainment including Mariachi Las Adelitas, the only all-female Mariachi band in Europe, plus Britain’s Got Talent’s Graeme Matthews who was also on hand to help get the party going.

Helen Scott, Senior Lecturer in Accounting, said:

“I’m really excited that our Accounting and Finance team have won ‘Accountancy College of the Year’ at the annual PQ Awards. A huge well done to all of our colleagues who contribute to the BA Accounting and Finance programme; it’s wonderful to be able to celebrate success.”
