Launch of the BA International Business Employability Suite
The BA International Business programme has created a dedicated Employability Suite for the students of the programme with the goal to enhance their employability skills and create employability opportunities.
As part of this initiative, a half day training event was organised on Wednesday 30 March on the topic: "How to open up your own business".
Guest speaker Steve Baker was invited to speak to students about the practical side of opening a business and covered topics such as business plan creation, funding your enterprise, managing your businesses finances and more. Steve also held a Q&A, enabling students to ask any questions they may have.
Also in attendance was guest speaker Richard Leighton who was on hand to discuss Social Entrepreneurship and also speak about his journey and experience in setting up his own social enterprise.
Following the workshop, students and guest speakers had the opportunity to network and socialise.
