University of Liverpool Management School wins CIMA Excellence Awards

We are delighted to announce that ULMS has won both the CIMA Prize-Winner Award and CIMA Global Excellence Awardt the second edition of the CIMA Excellence Awards virtual ceremony on 10 December 2021. The Prize-Winner Award recognises university partners that trained CIMA’s Top Students. Results of these students are based on CIMA case study exams in August and November last year and February and May this year. The Global Excellence Award recognises university partners that achieve CIMA pass rates above the global average over a 12-month period (1 Sept 2020 to 31 Aug 2021).

Sponsored by the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants, the global accounting organisation representing CIMA and the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), the annual CIMA Excellence Awards recognise institutions and individuals across the world going above and beyond to shape the next generation of Chartered Global Management Accountants and lead the accounting profession into the future.

More than 400 nominations from educational institutions and individuals were submitted this year for consideration in four categories CIMA Teaching Excellence Award, CIMA Research Excellence Award, CIMA Campus Culture Excellence Award and CIMA Employability Excellence Award. In addition, a central award committee selected winners for the CIMA Prize-Winner Excellence Award, CIMA Global Excellence Award, and CGMA Campus of the Year Award based on CIMA exam performance in 2020 and 2021.
