The Management School has improved in all subject areas of this year’s Guardian University Guide 2022.

The Guardian University Guide incudes league tables of all subject areas taught at UK universities. It ranks universities and subjects based on student feedback regarding various factors such as teaching, the course and the National Student Survey (NSS). This year’s guide combines 2021 and 2022 survey results to reflect universities’ pandemic response, as well as their performance in a normal year.

Nick Drape, Deputy Associate Dean Undergraduate, said “The release of the Guardian University Guide 2022 brought with it a great set of results for ULMS’ undergraduate subjects. Rankings for all subject areas have improved this year, continuing the really pleasing trend of recent years. Accounting has now moved up to tenth in the rankings, a rise of 9 places from last year. There were also significant ranking improvements for Business, Management and Marketing (ranked 32nd, an improvement of 35 places) and for Economics (ranked 39th, an improvement of 16 places).

“The Guardian rankings are driven by a range of factors related to the student experience and therefore these improvements reflect all the hard work of ULMS staff, in what has been an exceptionally difficult time for the sector. A massive well done to all involved and it’s great to see that all the hard work has had a positive impact for our fantastic students.”
