Developing digital content webinar

On Tuesday 23 June David Cockayne, Paul Matthews and Victoria McCall, from the Management School’s Marketing Group, delivered an interactive webinar for the British Academy of Management.

The session provided expert advice and support on the development of digital content as we move to a hybrid mode of teaching and learning.  It was attended by 98 business and management school staff spanning 11 different countries, across 3 time zones.

The webinar maintained an “in conversation approach” with regards to questions and answers.  This allowed participants to benefit from not only general guidance, but also context-specific responses to their individual questions and thoughts around the challenges they are currently and/or anticipate they will face in the future.

The event gained traction on social media, and there were numerous comments from staff in Higher Education across the U.K and overseas.

Professor Lisa Anderson who chaired the session commented:

“'This was a really useful and practical session that was full of tips and real experiences of teaching in a range of modes. It was a great opportunity to showcase ULMS' expertise in online and hybrid learning and teaching and to share our experience with the broader business and management school community”

The webinar will be followed by a future BAM Paper, and virtual work-shop to support the development on digital content as we move into a hybrid mode of delivery.
