The Management School hosted a Business Breakfast Briefing on Thursday 27 June.

The event was attended by contacts from the local business community and explored the topic of Big Data for Non-Analysts.

Speakers included Simon Kerevan, Founder and CEO at Iceberg Consulting, Ian McHale, Professor of Sports Analytics at the Management School, and Joe Wilson, Head of International Development at Arctic Shores, who shared practical applications of Big Data and how it has helped improve results in their organisations.

Attendees at the session commented that the talks were useful and allowed them to think about how big data can be applied to their own roles and organisations.

The next Business Breakfast Briefing will take place on 19th September and will feature various talks on Blockchain.
