Following the success of the first two workshops, the Management School recently hosted the third ICT4D North (of England) Workshop.

The event was organised by the Centre for Supply Chain Research and co-sponsored by the Sheffield Institute for International Development (SIID-DDI) and Centre for Development Informatics of University of Manchester.

The purpose of the workshop was to explore and connect current research by members of the ICT4D North network.  The network aims to foster intellectual exchange, research synergies and collaborations within our geographical region and make our multi-polar cluster of expertise visible to our partners.

Hossein Sharifi, Reader in Operations and Supply Chain Management Operations, said “Not only was this workshop a great way to discover some of the exciting research that has been going on within the network, it also provided a platform to facilitate further collaboration and explore potential funding opportunities.”
