Network Ambassadors attend training session

The Management School’s new Network Ambassadors for this academic year, recently attended a training session to introduce them to programme.

Network Ambassadors, made up of students from across the undergraduate programmes, are required to research the interests of students on their programme and connect with alumni who are working in these areas.  Ambassadors then carry out interviews with graduates to find out a variety of information which they can present back to students and staff.

During the session, students learnt more about what they will be required to do and how they will be able take advantage of the benefits of networking and developing relationships.  They also heard about how the insight they get from alumni will provide advice to themselves and their peers about life after graduation.

The programme was launched last year, with previous ambassadors making connections in industry and being offered work experience shadowing their new alumni contacts.  Final presentations will take place at the end of semester one. ‌
