Students take part in Management School’s first GradCamp

Final year undergraduate students were invited to attend the Management School’s first GradCamp in the University's new Teaching Hub.

The GradCamp was designed to help attendees understand and practice all the key elements of the initial stages of the graduate recruitment process.  Throughout the intensive day, students attended various workshops on topics such as CVs, applications, psychometric tests and video interviews.

Students who attended now also have the opportunity to receive personalised feedback following on from the workshops.

Gary Dewey, Senior Lecturer and Academic Lead for Employability, said “The first ULMS GradCamp was a great success and gave our students a real opportunity to learn about the current methods that employers use through the graduate recruitment process.

Through the interactive workshops it gave each student the chance to test themselves and then identify those areas that require improvement before making their real graduate job applications!”
