Accounting and Finance students take part in ICAEW business game

Students from the undergraduate Accounting and Finance programme took part in a business game hosted by the ICAEW.

Students worked in groups, acting as consultants to Adidas.   They were given information about the company which they analysed in order to advise on a suitable future strategy.

The activity encouraged students to develop their commercial awareness, a key skill that employers look out for.  It was also an excellent opportunity for students to meet other people from the programme.

Helen Scott, Director of Studies BA Accounting and Finance, said “It was great to see how students engaged with the business game as it’s important for them to become commercially aware, not only for their studies but in the workplace too.

This year’s group really impressed us with their confidence, knowledge and welcome week stamina!”
