International Management students welcome guest speaker

On Monday 30th April, the Management School welcomed Jessica Zhang, China Business Adviser at the China-Britain Business Council (CBBC), as a guest speaker.

The China-Britain Business Council helps British and Chinese businesses and organisations work together in China, the UK and third markets around the world.  Jessica joined the organisation in 2006 and has since worked with hundreds of UK based companies on their China business strategies. She has worked in both the private and public sector and her experience ranges from energy projects in China to Higher Education institutes in the UK as well as a researcher at the British Embassy in Beijing . 

Jessica spoke to students from the International Management module which aims to provide an introduction to key issues in international business and management from the perspective of the multinational enterprise.  She discussed the work that the CBBC does and gave information on different international business issues such as exporting to China.
