ULMS Network Ambassador Presentations

Published on

Students from across the undergraduate programmes recently gave presentations to summarise the findings from their network ambassador projects.

The ULMS network ambassador project required students to survey their peer group’s academic and industry interests as well as connecting with graduates within the Management School’s alumni network using LinkedIn and Liverpool Connect.

Some of the key themes present in the findings were the importance of networking, communication and building transferrable skills.

Laura Hill, Alumni Engagement Officer, said, “The Ambassadors have provided us with new insights, learnt how to network, and made connections with members of the alumni network which I hope they will maintain throughout their career. One Ambassador has been offered work shadowing from his new connection. The power of networking and the confidence and commercial awareness that can be developed by making connections is invaluable to students, and will better prepare them for life after graduation.”
