ICAEW holds speed networking event for Management School students
The ICAEW hosted an event at the Management School for undergraduate students on Tuesday 13th February.
Students from the Accounting and Finance programme took part in a speed networking session with well-known employers including; PwC, EY, DSG, Jackson Stephen, Islam & Co. and Johnstone Howell.
The event gave students the opportunity to find out more about career opportunities and also allowed them to start to build up a network of contacts including alumni from the BA Accounting and Finance programme.
Helen Scott, Senior Lecturer in Accounting, commented, “It was great for our students to have this fantastic opportunity to get a real insight into a range of accounting careers as well as building their confidence in networking with professionals. We are really grateful to the ICAEW for hosting this event and to all the employers who participated.”
