The University of Liverpool has secured a partnership agreement with Decathlon China which will see up to 50 vacancies for Chinese students and recent graduates.

Decathlon will offer placements across China all year round and students from the University of Liverpool will have access to a fast track application process where they will get a decision within 3 weeks.

As the only university to have this kind of partnership with Decathlon, the postgraduate careers service has insight into candidate preferences and selection standards so can provide students with training to help them pass the CV screening an interview stage.  Positions include in-store brand and sector managers as well as functional roles for more experienced applicants including finance, HR, and supply chain.

The opportunities are available to final year undergraduate students, postgraduate taught students and those who have graduate within the past year.  Xiaobei Wu, International Employer Engagement Officer at the Management School, said: “The University is the only official UK partner of Decathlon China, meaning Liverpool graduates now have the ability to undertake a fast track recruitment process at this rapidly expanding retail giant. The agreement highlights how much Decathlon China values the calibre of both our teaching and our graduates.”
